Project Introduction

Did You Know. . .

Iowa has 62 DNR managed state parks and 15 county conservation board managed state parks.  Each one of these 77 state parks has something unique about them. And over the next year I'd like to experience as much of it as I can!

In Iowa state parks you can do MANY fun activities including: hiking, boating, fishing, camping, picnicking, snowmobiling, bicycling, exploring, and much, much more!!!!

Stay tuned for new posts on my visits to the beautiful Iowa state parks. . .  In the meantime visit the link below to learn more about Iowa's State Parks.

  1. I think your adventures to Iowa Parks is very exciting! I am also really interested in nature and enjoy the "Great Outdoors!" Do you have any information on Iowa Parks that have cross-country skiing available?
